Supplier Management
The SPX Supplier Management Process is designed for selecting, managing, developing and maintaining those inventory suppliers, providing products, services and processes, who have been determined to be integral factors in contributing to the overall success of Service Solutions Tools and Equipment N.A.
The scope of this website includes the following SPX facilities:

SPX wants to partner with our suppliers in order to provide quality product, with on-time delivery, utilizing appropriate technology at a competitive cost to exceed our customer’s expectations.
We want to create an atmosphere of open dialog and clear communication throughout the product development, launch and delivery to our customers.
Definitions
1. General Supplier-A inventory supplier that does not meet the criteria to be an On Target Supplier.
2. On Target Supplier – An inventory supplier that is selected on the technical and business needs of SPX. See On Target Supplier Management document for On Target Supplier criteria.
3. Supplier Qualification/Audit System – A documented evaluation of a supplier’s business systems, performed, to determine whether business activities and related results have the ability to supply product in accordance with the organization’s requirements.
4. Three Year Block Period – A three year interval when all active general suppliers’ Score Card Rating is reviewed to determine if a general supplier does or does not meet the Supplier Score Card requirements.
